For this assignment w had to go out and shoot a picture of the school and edit it to make it look spooky and scary. For mine I did the long hallway down the center of the school. I put a portal on one of the flags with the school activities on them and then I put stone slabs going down to the floor. I put some sort of lizard monster going down the stairs entering the school and a skull on the top step by the portal. Creating the steps was kind of difficult because I wasn't being smart and I didn't try to copy the slabs instead I would place it again and I would image mask it again and go through the whole process until the final 3 steps where I remembered how to press buttons.

For this weeks photoshoot I did an event. The event I took pictures of is the wheelchair basketball that was help at the high school on Friday. I chose this photo because it shows the expression on the face of the person guarding the guy with the ball on Navy. It shows the guy on Army looking up the court for someone to pass it to and the last guy towards the bottom left of the picture is looking to intercept the pass. It was difficult to take these because i had to stabilize the camera on my own with such a high zoom and I didn't have a tripod to help me stabilize. To edit this I increased the temperature In it and I increased exposure and I also increased saturation a little bit.
3200 ISO 125 mm f / 4.5 1/200 seconds I chose this picture as my best one because it shows a lot in it but it dose not show too much to the point where it is very distracting. I took this picture in the first few weeks of the class and Ive had it saved for a while so I decided to use it today for black and white.
ISO 400 / 5 mm / f/3.5 / 1/60 sec For this assignment we had to go out ad take pictures of something. We had to take five pictures to make it into a panoramic. I took pictures of the schools gym and it was hard to take them all because its very dark inside of the gym so I tried to use flash but it made it worse. So I had to find a spot where the most light was let in and I found that here on the track up top.
I chose this one because it docent have much to focus on but the ring and maybe the top of the bottle I put it onto. This is a ring that I got when I was eleven at Cooperstown in New York for a baseball tournament. It really means a lot because going to Cooperstown was a big thing for me because its the baseball central and a big thing for people who are that age. I tired taking this photo in many different backgrounds and I couldn't find a good one for this because it was either grainy or it was busy so I put this next to my light on my bedside table set it one a bottle and blurred the background with the aperture and took the picture.
ISO 800 - 32mm - F/5.6 - 1/200 sec In this assignment we had to learn how to retouch a car with photoshop. We had to remove background and we also had to remove reflections on the hood of the car. We cropped the image and edited it to make it look better. We also had to learn how to use the quick select tool to remove the background and to tint the windshield of the car.
This is the picture I chose to use as my best photo. It was getting dark outside so I had to use my flash o my camera but I feel like if it was during the day and bright outside it wouldn't look as good the flash add a element to it that nothing else would really give. It was really difficult to decide whether I needed flash or not on the picture I had to take every photo about three times to get it just the way I wanted. Grain was a big problem with this because it was so dark outside. So I had to really use the flash in some of these that were later in the night. Some of these picture were taken a but earlier in the day when there was still a little bit of light out but mostly they were all taken when it was fairly dark out. With this photo I had to do a lot to make sure it wasn't too bright or too dark so I darkened the whites to make it a bit darker so the flash wasn't so bad and I also decreased the exposure so that also made sure that the light wasn't so bright. I also turned the vibrance up a bit so the flower popped out more than it actually did.
ISO 6400 / 18mm / f/5.6 / 1/100 sec In this assignment I decided to take pictures of animals specifically my two dogs. I learned that it is very hard to get animals to sit still and take good pictures of them. Depth of field is very important when taking pictures of animals because if you don't have the correct depth of field then you may not get all the facial features of the animal one a close up shot or if its to far then the background may distract you from the main subject. This is my favorite photo I took this shoot. This is a close up shot of my dog Truman. I added more contrast to the black and white on him. I made blacks more black and I made whites more white. I made it a bit sharper when it comes to the corners and the front part of his face using clarity.

AuthorHi Im Fletcher I own 2 dogs and they're pretty neat. I also have two brothers and a sister. One of my brothers Cooper he took this same class and recommended me to do it and I did and its pretty fun. I always had been interested in being a photographer but not really thought about it that much but now that its been a few weeks its definitely something I would consider doing as a hobby in my future.
