In this assignment I decided to take pictures of animals specifically my two dogs. I learned that it is very hard to get animals to sit still and take good pictures of them. Depth of field is very important when taking pictures of animals because if you don't have the correct depth of field then you may not get all the facial features of the animal one a close up shot or if its to far then the background may distract you from the main subject. This is my favorite photo I took this shoot. This is a close up shot of my dog Truman. I added more contrast to the black and white on him. I made blacks more black and I made whites more white. I made it a bit sharper when it comes to the corners and the front part of his face using clarity.

AuthorHi Im Fletcher I own 2 dogs and they're pretty neat. I also have two brothers and a sister. One of my brothers Cooper he took this same class and recommended me to do it and I did and its pretty fun. I always had been interested in being a photographer but not really thought about it that much but now that its been a few weeks its definitely something I would consider doing as a hobby in my future.
